Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We collect account details such as email address, display name, authentication timestamps, and security metadata. When you use learning features, we store progress, saved infographs, practice answers, chapter-test attempts, scores, and related timestamps.

We also receive technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as request, device, browser, error, and security-log data. We do not ask you to provide payment-card details to NetWise Academy.

PayPal billing

PayPal processes one-time checkout, payment methods, receipts, refunds, and disputes. NetWise Academy receives limited billing records needed to verify Premium access, including offer, purchase, PayPal Order and capture identifiers, amount, currency, access state, and event timestamps. We do not receive complete card numbers.

How information is used

We use information to provide accounts and learning features, verify Premium access, maintain attempt history, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, reconcile billing, audit administrative actions, diagnose failures, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers and disclosure

Supabase provides database, authentication, and storage services; Vercel provides application hosting; and PayPal provides payment processing. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a properly managed business transfer.

NetWise Academy does not sell personal information and does not use payment or learning records for third-party behavioral advertising.

Retention

Account and learning records are retained while the account is active and as needed to provide history or resolve support requests. Billing, entitlement, security, and audit records are retained for the periods required for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, and applicable law. Backup copies expire through the normal backup-retention cycle. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, unless retention is legally required.

Security and international processing

We use access controls, private storage, encrypted connections, server-only credentials, audit records, and verified provider lookups to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

Your choices and rights

You can update available profile information and review PayPal purchase and access state from the NetWise account page. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information. Some billing and audit records may need to be retained after account deletion.

Children and policy changes

The service is not directed to children who cannot lawfully consent to account processing in their location. We may update this Policy as the service or legal requirements change and will post the revised date.
